Easy Crockpot Breakfast: Apple Oatmeal
Who doesn't like warm apple oatmeal to start the day? Even more, who doesn't love the smell of cinnamon and apple throughout the whole house? This was a delicious easy breakfast recipe for those of us who do not have time in the morning. All that you have to do is dump everything in the crockpot before bed, and wake up to a complete breakfast. This recipe will feed a family of four so tweak the ingredients as necessary.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp of butter
4 medium apples, peeled and diced
¾ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
2 cups old fashioned oats
Directions:
Wipe down the sides of the cooker with a pat of butter to keep from forming a "crust" along the edges.
Add the apples to the bottom of the crock pot.
Sprinkle cinnamon across the apples
Pour sugar over the apples and cinnamon
Cover with two cups of oats
Gently pour in 4 cups of water
DO NOT STIR
Place on low setting and cook overnight, 8-10 hours.
